A wild version of a generously hopped IPA, fermented in red wine barrels. It is a blend of variously run barrels, the final proportions of which is determined before bottling. Thanks to the work of the wild yeast in the beer, the aromas of New Wave hop varieties have transformed and enriched the beer with notes known from lambics. The beer is smooth, refreshing and decidedly bitter.
The barrel: sourced from the French vineyard Château Léoville Las Cases (Appellation d’Origine contrôlée Saint- Julien), used to age wine from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc varieties.
